River Tweed Autumn Atlantic Salmon 2008.

A fine salmon caught in the lower Bishops Pool on Upper Caberston River Tweed in October 2006.This is a great week of salmon fishing that has been running for more years than I care to think about. The fishing takes place on the Upper Caberston beat (Walkerburn), now owned by my friend Michael Evans. The quality of the fish at this time is excellent 2006 saw 19 fish of which only 3 were coloured, the rest were the proverbial bars of silver. Conditions in 2007 were difficult and we ended the week with 12 fish
